Massage Therapist
Chrystos Minot has been doing massage for forty years; his passion for exploring the nuances of the physical goes further back. He has explored and studied states of consciousness with dance, yoga, and aerobic activities for forty-five years. Chrystos brings his joy and intelligence of things physical and intangible into every massage session, whether it’s finding the mysterious origin of chronic headaches, or sports / surgery recovery. Sometimes people ask Chrystos how he can keep doing this with the physical challenges of doing massage for so long. His answer is that his joy in and fascination for hearing peoples’ stories, and helping them grow as whole beings, carries the day. Some of his massage specialties include feet, necks, deep tissue myofascial work, and acupressure (Chinese Medicine) based massage. Chrystos enjoys hiking fourteeners, swimming, yoga, stand up paddling, mountain biking, sacred dance, nature photography, making sculptures, creative cooking, carpentry, and repairing things. "Youth is not a matter of ripe cheeks, red lips and supple knees. It is a temper of the will, a quality of the imagination, a vigor of the emotions.” — Swami Bua, 110 years old
We envision a world where the power of touch and human connection is honored, and health and happiness is a state of being instead of a pursuit.
